The house is closed on June 15th and 16th.

The house is reserved for guests of the foundation on June 15th and 16th. The guests wish to be in the house undisturbed, which is in accordance with Wittgenstein his own philosophy about Skjolden as the perfect place to be still.

BUT; if you are one of those who have traveled far to visit the house, you can still go up to the house and see it from the outside.
